The papers were signed and the archives went up earlier
In case my loyal readers have not heard, I graduated college with an Associates in January. I would like to thank Vicky and my parents for helping me push through the last semester. With everything that happened to me I know I couldn't have done it without them.
Now for my requested political commentary.
I remember one time hearing Sarah Jessica Parker on the television. She was talking about how we needed more funding for prescription drugs for the elderly. That her mother should not have to choose between groceries and her heart medication, or some other such nonsense. My jaw dropped. The millionaire movie starlet with her movie star husband who lived in one of the high priced housing in NYC would not buy her mother her prescription drugs?
Why is it that rich liberal democrats always want the average American to help their parents? I knew two twin men. They had powerful positions in companies with very nice paychecks, in other words they were LOADED. Yet they let their disabled mother wait in dilapidated housing until she turns 62 and can move into a nursing home.
Now contrast these types to people like my parents. When my neighbor became ill, my father went over to look in on then. He mowed their lawn and other such things. When he died, they took care of the funeral making arrangements and paying for it out of their own pockets. When the widow had to go into a nursing home, my parents visited her often and took care of the mountain of paperwork. When she passed, my parents took care of her arrangements and buried her. This was done at a substantial cost to them and took alot of time.
My parents are what I aspire to be.
I bought a Bluetooth adapter so I could download pictures and such off my phone. This means the pics page will be changing to updated photos as soon as I get the time to correctly format and upload them.
I have cut my long hair so it is pretty short. I think it makes me look alot more clean cut and have been told it makes me look younger.
Oh is single life fun. |
