This summer has seen me excape a bear trap. Aye, that's the title of the chapter that covers this summer in the book of my life.
I have discovered that a decent sized gym type bag could be secured on my bike nicely. Quicky links made fast to set up and take off. Of course this works only if I am not carrying a passenger. I can fit quite a bit of clothing and other neccessities in there and on the bike quite nice. If I grab a a backpack carring my laptop, well then, I'm all set.
Then it's just gas and road food. Road food consist of stopping and Micky D's and getting one double cheeseburger, one mc chicken, and one large sweet tea. Not having to take a crap on these road trips is kinda nice,
Whew, give me a moment to regain my composure, that was funny.
Aye, but seriously it's $3.84 I think. $3.18 if you replace the double cheeseburger with the double hamburger from the dollar menu.
Oh that can't be right. Does a slice of cheese cost that much?
I've seen some amazing times in the saddle this summer. One of the most memorable sights this summer has been seeing my bike odometer roll onto 30 thousand miles. I really should write down the directions of some of my favorite rides. I've ridden my old school bus route this summer and discovered some more beautiful destinations to ride to and through.
I've always been an optamist. Life is good and only getting better. Never so true has that been than this fall. As of the beginning of winter, I can safly say, life IS good and getting better.
I got a bit of a confused response on that last "meow". How easy it is to tear down anothers house. Just about anyone with a claw hammer could reduce a building. How many could use that same hammer to build?
